Robert Barrese is a Director of King & Whittle with more than 30 years of professional experience.

Robert works closely with individuals, businesses, and companies, to manage complex financial structures, develop effective tax planning strategies and provide practical advice tailored to specific circumstances. His approach combines technical expertise, commercial judgement and a strong understanding of the personal and business priorities that shape each client’s financial decisions.

Known for his proactive. personal and considered advice, Robert helps clients identify opportunities, improve business outcomes and structure their affairs with clarity and confidence. He is valued for his ability to think strategically, solve complex problems and provide guidance that is both practical and forward-looking.

Robert has built enduring relationships with clients across generations, providing trusted support as needs evolve. Through his strong network of professional contacts and referral partners, he also helps clients access specialist expertise when required, ensuring they are supported by the right advisers at the right time.

Robert takes pride in offering a high level of partner involvement, personalised attention and a deep understanding of each client’s business and financial needs.

Robert joined King & Whittle in 1999 and was appointed Director in 2007.  

Robert holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and is a Justice of the Peace. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and CPA Australia. He also holds a Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Public Practice Certificate, a CPA Australia Public Practice Certificate and a Certificate of Registration as a Tax Agent.

Paul Dimech

Paul Dimech is a Director of King & Whittle with more than 25 years of professional experience.

Paul is known for his thorough, hands-on and tailored approach. With a strong commercial mindset, Paul advises clients on a broad range of business, taxation and advisory matters. His work includes individual and business advisory, entrepreneurial services, strategic financial planning, employer obligations, international taxation, risk profiling, cash flow management, growth strategies and exit planning.

Paul helps clients think beyond today, to consider how their business can operate more effectively, use surplus cash flow wisely and build long-term value. His advice is grounded in technical expertise, commercial understanding and a practical appreciation of the challenges business owners face.

Paul joined King & Whittle in 2002 and was appointed Director in 2016.

Beyond his work with clients, Paul is actively involved in the broader community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Brainwave Australia, an organisation that supports families affected by childhood brain conditions and provides care and assistance to more than 1,500 families each year. Paul is also part of the Ownership Group of the South East Melbourne Phoenix, a professional basketball franchise competing in the National Basketball League.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of The Tax Institute. He also holds a Chartered Accountants Public Practice Certificate and a Certificate of Registration as a Tax Agent.

Bruce Dyason is King & Whittle’s Wealth Management Director and has nearly 30 years of experience across management, advisory and consulting roles.

Bruce is passionate about helping clients make informed decisions about their financial future. His approach to wealth management is built on trust, honesty, loyalty and empathy, qualities he brings to deliver an unwavering service to his clients and their families.

He is known for building strong, trust-based relationships and providing considered advice that reflects each client’s specific goals, circumstances and stage of life. Bruce works closely with clients to help them grow, manage and protect their wealth, with a focus on clarity, confidence and long-term financial wellbeing.

Bruce is also passionately involved in the Pro Bono Financial Advice Network (PFAN), a national network of advisers committed to improving the financial wellbeing of Australians living with serious illness or disability. Through this work, Bruce shares his expertise to help people and families access quality financial advice at times when it can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

An experienced entrepreneur, Bruce has successfully founded several businesses, including one that was acquired by an ASX-listed entity. This commercial experience gives him a practical understanding of business ownership, growth, risk and transition, that adds value to the advice he provides.

Bruce joined King & Whittle in 2017 and holds a Master of Business (Entrepreneurship and Innovation). He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (ADFP) and a Specialist SMSF, Margin Lending and Equities Qualification.

Leeanne is a Senior Associate at King & Whittle with nearly 30 years of experience in public practice.  

Leeanne brings clarity to complexity giving clients confidence that their affairs are being managed with technical discipline and attention to detail.

She has extensive experience advising clients across a broad range of taxation, business compliance and strategic matters. Her work is focused on helping clients create, manage and protect wealth, with advice tailored to their personal circumstances, business interests, life stage and long-term goals.

Leeanne believes that financial success is possible with the right adviser by your side; someone who listens to understand, guides you through complexity and helps you make informed decisions

Her experience spans business planning and development, estate planning, international dealings, superannuation, taxation and accounting. Jennifer brings a considered approach to her work, helping clients navigate complexity and make informed decisions aligned with their personal and business goals.

Jennifer understands the balance between core compliance, specialised advice and practical solutions. She works closely with clients to help them meet their business obligations, respond to changing requirements and plan for the future with confidence.

Milan works with clients across a broad range of business and financial matters, including succession planning, internal reporting, financial structuring, growth planning and broader strategic advice. She is valued for her ability to make complex matters clear, practical and easy to understand.

Milan advises individuals, companies, and trusts across diverse industries, providing thoughtful and comprehensive support with compliance, taxation and business matters.  Her approach is grounded in integrity, attention to detail and a commitment to helping clients make informed decisions.

She excels at playing an active role in her clients’ long-term success and is dedicated to building strong, trusted and enduring relationships. Through her holistic approach, Milan helps clients manage their obligations, strengthen their financial position and work toward their personal and business goals with greater confidence.

Milan joined King and Whittle in 2019. She is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from RMIT University.

He works closely with clients to provide practical advice, clear guidance and reliable support across their personal, business and financial affairs.

Valued for his ability to build long-term relationships and help clients make informed decisions that support their financial goals, Gianni’s experience spans a diverse range of industries, giving him a strong understanding of the diverse challenges and obligations clients face. He brings technical knowledge, professionalism and a practical approach to client service.

Gianni joined King and Whittle in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
