Second round of Boosting Female Founders Initiative now open!
The federal government has launched a second $11.6m round of funding available under the Boosting Female Founders Initiative, that will support female entrepreneurs to build their business, create local jobs and take on domestic and global markets.
The initiative aims to help women overcome disadvantages in getting access to commercial finance and stimulate private sector investment into female-fronted start-ups via grants between $25,000 and $400,000.
Announced on International Women’s Day, Minister for Industry, Science and Technology Karen Andrews said “Through the Boosting Female Founders Initiative, we’re helping female entrepreneurs overcome barriers to success and launch their great ideas to the world stage.”
Applications for Round 2 of the initiative are open until 22 April 2021, and you can apply and view more information about the initiative here or give us a call.
